There`s absolutely nothing better than generating happiness… and getting a big beaming smile in return, which happened today with the children of the Hospital de Peralvillo.
The children joyously received the WBC Cares champions, who arrived at the facilities of the hospital located in the colonia San Simon in Cuauhtémoc. Mexico City.
Led by the Director of the Hospital Doctor Emilio Escobar Picazo and Enrique Espinoza, hospital staff greeted the former female bantamweight champion Irma Garcia, the international female monarch Ana Arrazola, and former champions Pipino Cuevas -who arrived dressed as a clown, alongside Víctor Rabanales, to visit the children of the different wards. They started in the department which treats children with cleft palates.
The young fighters not only received words of encouragement from the champions but also toys and beautiful books that were collected by Mrs. Elisa Azuara, donated by high school students from Ovalle Monday.
More than 40 children, ranging from premature babies to adolescents at the hospital, receive the perpetually full attention of doctors and nurses, who lovingly arrived dressed in different characters on Children’s Day. A date dedicated to reaffirm the rights of children universally, and celebrate the blessings they bring.
This emotional visit was so memorable, filled with laughter, happiness anecdotes and above all signs of affection, in which all of these young, courageous warriors and their parents were inspired and encouraged to continue fighting their different difficult battles. We salute them! They`re the bravest of the brave!
