The World Boxing Council (WBC) has announced that American boxer Brandon “The Cannon” Adams will be a special guest at its 2025 Annual Convention, set to take place in Bangkok, Thailand, from November 30 to December 5.
A native of Los Angeles, Adams (professional record: 26 wins, 16 by knockout, and 4 losses) has built a career defined by perseverance and consistency. After winning Season 5 of The Contender reality series, he went on to challenge for the WBC Middleweight World Title in 2019, proving his caliber at the elite level.
Standing 5’9” tall with a 70-inch reach, Adams combines refined technique, top-level experience, and a strong knockout ratio of around 62%. His journey — marked by battles against top contenders and several key victories — has solidified him as one of the most respected names in the super welterweight division.
The convention will be held at the prestigious Marriott Marquis Queen’s Park in Bangkok and promises to be a historic edition, as for the first time the WBC Muay Thai organization will join the event, bringing together both boxing and Muay Thai under one roof.
The agenda for this year’s convention includes panel discussions, networking sessions, an awards ceremony, and a gala dinner. Attendees will have a unique opportunity to hear firsthand from athletes like Adams and participate in conversations about the future of boxing and the ongoing efforts to improve safety in the sport.
By joining the 2025 WBC Convention, Brandon Adams reinforces his place within the global boxing community and continues to contribute to the enduring legacy of the green and gold.
