Through this digital platform, the WBC provides global health monitoring protocols, facilitating constant supervision that can save lives. The tool stands out for its efficiency and simplicity: the registration process is done via a QR code and takes less than three minutes.
As part of the organization’s safety regulations, all WBC world champions, as well as boxers ranked in the top 15 of each division, are required to register with BoxMed. This measure ensures that high-performance athletes are under rigorous and up-to-date medical supervision.
Weight has historically been one of the greatest challenges and risks in boxing. BoxMed addresses this problem directly by allowing:
