
BoxMed is a comprehensive free system for the care, health and wellbeing of the athlete.
Together with the WBC it makes health monitoring protocols available to boxers and their teams around the World, through the BoxMed platform. It’s easy to register with a QR code and also to track and registration time is just three minutes.
WBC Champions and the first fifteen ranked boxers per division must register on BoxMed.
It allows boxers to record their weight, send medical exams, receive notifications and stay in touch. Constant weight monitoring is crucial as weight tends to be the boxer’s worst enemy. BoxMed is now established in fifty three countries and is available in eight languages.
The presentation here at the World Boxing Council Convention in Thailand was done by Dr Andrew Kluger who stressed its transparency, health and safety at every stage of the boxer’s career.
