Bonita vs Rebelde

 A thrilling women’s boxing night in Puebla on November 8, at the Auditorio GNP Seguros, when Mexican fighter Gabriela “Bonita” Sánchez will step back into the ring to compete for the WBC interim flyweight championship against Argentine Tamara “Rebelde” Demarco.

Sánchez, a proud representative of Puebla and the current WBC interim Silver champion, also serves as head of the State Secretariat of Sports and Youth. She aims to consolidate her place among the top fighters in her division in a night promising intensity, technique, and heart.

“Bonita” captured the Silver title in 2023 after defeating Ángela “Chiquita” Nolasco by majority decision in a close fight, beginning a streak of notable victories. Since then, she has successfully defended her title: she knocked out Valeria Pérez, defeated Tomoko Okuda by unanimous decision, and most recently overcame Simangele Hadebe, demonstrating both technical and maturity.

With a professional record of 12 wins, 6 losses, and 1 KO, Sánchez will seek to leverage the energy of fighting at home to take another step toward the world stage.

On the other hand, the experienced Tamara “Rebelde” Demarco (13-8), a fighter known for her aggressive style and resilience, will try to shake things up in Puebla.
