This Saturday Artur Beterbiev became the undisputed light heavyweight champion, by defeating via majority decision, the now ex-champion Dmitry Bivol, in the main event of a marvelous card, at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Even though there were no knockdowns, the fight was intense, riveting and superb throughout. Bivol boxed, fluidly as well as fluently moving around the ring, while Beterbiev always surged  forward, seeking the knockout by punishing his rival.

Both had great and thrilling moments throughout 12 rounds, but in the end Beterbiev was awarded by the Judges  for his greater punching.

They ruled a majority decision victory, with two judges scoring 115-113 and 116-112 in favor of Beterbiev, while a third saw the fight tied 114-114.
