Azanau and Orobio Retain Their Titles
On Thursday, September 4 in Quebec, Canada, Jhon “Tigre” Orobio and Dzmitry “Wasp” Azanau successfully defended their WBC Continental Americas belts at super lightweight and lightweight, respectively.
Jhon Orobio made the first defense of his title against Ivan Basurto. The Colombian preserved his undefeated record and added another KO to his résumé.
“Tigre” knocked out Basurto in the third round.
The Belarusian also defended his belt successfully for the second time.
Like Orobio, he ended his co-main event bout quickly with a third-round stoppage.
His perfect record now stands at 11 wins, 3 of them by KO.
