Arena di Verona Welcomes the Amazing WBC Muay Thai Festival

The Arena di Verona is undoubtedly one of the most emblematic monuments of modern times. It is considered among the greatest amphitheaters, alongside the Colosseum in Rome and the Capua Amphitheater near Naples.

Its construction dates back to the first decades of the first century, during the reign of Emperor Augustus. This amphitheater was not originally located in the city center. Initially, it stood just outside the walls of the ancient city to facilitate the influx of spectators and avoid crowding within the city. It was later incorporated within the Verona walls built by Gallienus to defend the city from barbarian attacks.

The Amazing MuayThai World Festival will take place from June 25 to 29, 2025, in the historic city of Verona. This landmark event will unite the global MuayThai community, with over 1,600 registered participants and an extraordinary 860 fighters competing for WBC MuayThai World Championship glory across elite amateur and professional divisions.

Organized under the banner of the World Boxing Council MuayThai, with support from the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Sports Authority of Thailand, the festival represents the pinnacle of international MuayThai competition and cultural celebration.
