Anti-Doping WBC Clean Boxing Program – Riyadh Season WBC Boxing Grand Prix

The Riyadh Season  WBC Boxing Grand Prix has utilized the Clean Boxing Program testing with VADA as part of its commitment to keep boxing safe, clean, and just.

The WBC and VADA have conducted 95 anti-doping tests in connection with the Tournament.  There has only been one adverse finding, which is in the final stages of the Results Management protocol.

The Tournament participant whose sample yielded the adverse finding had won his bouts in Phases 1 and 2. He will not participate in Phase 3.

The WBC CPB’s investigation of the circumstances of the adverse finding is ongoing.  The WBC will address the outcome of its investigation and the appropriate measures it takes once the Results Management process is concluded.
