The most important boxing event of the year, the 2023 World Boxing Council annual Convention will be held in Tashkent, Uzbekistan, 12-17 November.
Tashkent the City of Stone, is the economic and cultural hub of Uzbekistan and one of the richest cities in all of Central Asia. It combines history, tradition, offering spectacular views of an oriental city, wide avenues, succulent restaurants as well as large and beautiful buildings, which will be draped and adorned In Green and Gold.
One of the champions who will join us and be greeted with open arms, is Amir Khan. Born on December 8, 1986 in England, is a former champion who won multiple titles in his successful career. Amir is the youngest British Olympic boxing medalist. He won silver at the 2004 Athens Olympics at age 17. He is also one of the youngest British world champions in history, winning the super lightweight title at 22 years old.
