Today, at the beautiful City of Verona, Italy, a Press conference took place in order to present the Amazing MuayThai World Festival 2025 Edition.

We are here all together to officialy presentat the
Amazing MuayThai World Festival in Verona 2025, an international event from Verona to the whole world. We will welcome you warmly and we are sure that this will be a historic event as it will be of great importance for us. Although this discipline is still growing in Italy, we are sure that together we will take MuayThai to a new Stage in this reguon. We will be waiting for you with great anticipation this 2025.

I am very honored to be here, last year we had the honor of presenting a great Muay Thai event in Venice and now we will be able to do it in Verona. MuayThai is much more than a sport, it is an art in Thailand and we are honored to show its culture in Italy. Gladiators used to fight in the Colosseum and now Muay Thai fighters will follow this tradition.

From Thailand to Venice, thank you for your invitation. I am here representing our Prime Minister and our culture to enhance Muay Thai in the world. Italy is the sixth country we have come to and we will continue to do so for the benefit of our sport. We are honored to celebrate 20 years of MuayThai WBC. We had a historic day outside the coliseum, an incredible card tomorrow and a massive masterclass on Sunday… Wait for the festival next year.

Mr. Mayor, thank you for receiving us. For two decades the MuayThai WBC has promoted discipline, art and sport. We have represented the essence of sport, resilience and honor. We are proud to be able to be in such a historic place as Italy with the intention of continuing to build bridges. We are sure that we will continue to write history together.

This year we will bring more than 65 gladiators from around the world. They will fight and display their talent in this historic country. We thank you for continuing building bridges with the WBC and WBC MuayThai.

We thank the current administration and major Damiano Tommasi. We thank the WBC for all their effort and hard work, it will be a great moment. Through sport we promote education, culture and discipline. Verona is music, art, discipline, hospitality and tradition. A year ago the president of the WBC, Mauricio Sulaimán said “My father’s dream was to bring boxing to the Colosseum” and now we are closer to making this dream come true.
