Alycia Baumgardner joins Derrick James to prepare for Her upcoming Fight

Undisputed super featherweight champion Alycia, has teamed up with Derrick James, one of the best trainers in the business, to ready for her next fight on July 11.

Baumgardner will defend her undisputed championship against Jennifer Miranda on the preliminary card of the Amanda Serrano and Katie Taylor trilogy at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

“A solid addition. An even stronger foundation. We’re ready for July 11!” Baumgardner wrote on social media.

Miranda is undefeated, but hasn’t faced any renowned opponents. She is 38 years old and turned pro in 2018, unlike Baumgardner, who has received various awards and is currently considered one of the best pound-for-pound fighters. James has worked with Errol Spence Jr., Jermell Charlo, Ryan Garcia, Anthony Joshua and Chris Martin.
