
World Boxing Council super featherweight champion Miguel “Alacrán” Berchelt (36-1 / 32 KO) will defend his crown tomorrow night, in Carson, California, against the North American of Puerto Rican origin, Jason Sosa (23-3 -4 / 16 KO).
Both fighters made the official weigh in for fight night without problem:
Berchelt 129.8lbs.
Sosa 128.2 lbs.
This will be the sixth WBC title defense of the champ, who comes from defeating his countryman Francisco Vargas by technical KO in the sixth round in May.
Sosa, after losing two consecutive fights in 2017 against elite boxers Vasyl Lomachenko and Yuriorkis Gamboa, has won his three most recent fights.
