Although the highly anticipated clash between WBC Interim bantamweihgt champion Takuma Inoue (13-0, 3 KOs) and absolute champion, Nordine Oubaali of France (16-0, 12 KOs), has not yet been officially announced, the Japanese fighter has already gone to work.
Inoue is preparing with a former rival, Mark Anthony Geraldo (37-9-3, 18 KOs), who he already defeated in a match for the OPBF fly crown in 2015, in what was Takuma’s fifth professional fight.
Geraldo has been selected as a combat partner for Inoue for several reasons, not only because he is left-handed, like Oubaali, but also because Gerlado has shared the ring with Oubaali.
The Filipino was knocked out by Oubaali in a fight for the WBC silver title at the end of 2017, suffering the second defeat of his career.
The fight is expected to take place on November 7th in Japan.
