Local favorite Gabriela ‘Bonita’ Sánchez will battle for the WBC Interim Flyweight Title in a direct rematch ordered by the World Boxing Council against former Argentinian world champion Tamara ‘La Rebelde’ De Marco.

Their first encounter was a thrilling, action-packed brief encounter, that ended in controversy following a cut to De Marco’s eyebrow.
