
On July 31st 1994 Yasuei Yakushiji successfully defended the bantamweight crown of the World Boxing Council, defeating Korean Jung-Il Byunen.
This was a repeat dose of the granite hard combat that both warriors had waged seven months earlier, when Yasuei was the winner by decision.
The lion hearted clauses of fight two, were similar to the first maul brawl, with the two fighters constantly connecting in a ferocious, give and take, very close fight. In the eleventh round the Japanese champion launched a terrific and sustained attack, obliging the Referee to stop the bout.
The card was held at the Aichi Prefectural Gym in Nagoya, Japan and the Referee was Lou Filippo, while the Judges were Victor Manuel Cervantes, Marty Denkin and Chuck Hassett
