South Korean Jung Koo Chang defended the WBC light flyweight championship  defeating Japan’s Katsuo Tokashiki by TKO in  round 9, at the Pohang Gymnasium de Pohang, South Korea. The third man in the ring was Steve Crosson. The Judges were Chris Harber, Larry Nayadag and James Jen Kim.
