Mexican Rodolfo Martinez defended the WBC bantamweight championship  defeating Japan’s, Hisami Numata, by UD in 15 rounds. The fight took place at the Myagi Sports Center in Sendai, Japan.  The Referee was Jimmy Rondeau. While the Judges were Benjamín Gonzalez Márquez and Hiroyuki Tezaki.
