Marco Antonio Barrera defeated Erik Morales to win the WBC super featherweight title in a thrilling trilogy decider.

The Mexican legends split their first two meetings, giving Morales his first professional loss.

Barrera followed with another decision in the rubber match to hand Morales his second loss in 49 fights.

After starring one of the greatest rivalries in boxing history, Erik Morales and Marco Antonio Barrera finally became good friends some years ago.
