WBC mourns the passing of Donovan Garcia

The WBC mourns the passing of Donovan Garcia, a young boxer just 15 years old who died after sustaining serious injuries in a car accident.

After seven days of fighting, the young man lost the battle and therefore his family decided to associate him with what he was most passionate about: “Donovan fought his biggest battle and fought 7 rounds. His family wants everyone to know that he is at peace, and they are at peace with God’s will,” his relatives commented on social networks.

Despite not having made the leap to professional boxing, García earned several accolades during his amateur career.
