American Marvin Camel and Croatian Mate Parlov clashed, both of them from a southpaw guard. They fought for the vacant WBC cruiserweight championship- a fresh new division created by the WBC. A very competitive fight ended with a draw. The bout was at the Sportski Center Gripe in Split, Croatia. The Referee was Raymond Baldeyrou. The Judges were Sid Nathan and James Brimmell.
