Throughout 2020 the COVID-19 pandemic ravaged the entire world with full force venom pestilence.
There were no vaccines, thousands of people lost their loved ones, their jobs, their normalcy and their freedom, as the world became a dark place.
However, during the gloom, there were people who emerged to lead by inspiration. Doctors and nurses social workers, boxers, drivers and many more…Captains of courage! A crisis brings the very best out in great people, regardless of risk and danger.
In appreciation and recognition of this, the WBC created the “Heroes of Humanity” honoring those who fought for us, and were in our corner when we needed it most, during the darkest hour.
One of those beacons of hope shining stars is Samantha Bulner. We at the World Boxing Council marvel at her selfless courage and her persistence to fulfill her duties and courageously see it through to the end.
Victoria’s Department of Health recently recognized her actions to save lives.people who would not be with us and their families today, but for her determination to support them in their hour of greatest need. Vaccines lifesavers.
The WBC is extremely proud of Samantha Bulner and looks forward to her participation in the World Boxing Council Annual Convention, to be held November 6-11 in Acapulco, Mexico.
