Very patient Nestor Giovannini presented with WBC Belt in Argentina

In Las Varas Córdoba province of Argentina a night of top boxing, and its main bout involved Williams Herrera, defeating Manuel Liendo by technical knockout in the fourth round.

In a special preview of the event broadcast live by TyC Sports, the World Boxing Council light heavyweight International Champion belt was presented  to Néstor Giovannini.

On March 31, 1988, in Italy, Argentine boxer Néstor “Tito” Giovannini beat previously undefeated Italian Noé Cruciani by knockout in the first round, thus becoming International champion.

Last weekend saw how Néstor Giovannini, this proud champion of Argentina, received the belt that he had won on that occasion. The delivery of said recognition was in the hands of Dr. Luis Doffi,  an authority in  the Argentine Boxing Federation.
