
Kazakh Ali Akhmedov won the World Boxing Council’s Super Middleweight Silver title defeating American veteran Gabriel Rosado by unanimous decision, in one of the main supporting bouts of the “Canelo vs. Golovkin III” card, which took place this Saturday at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.
The fight was dominated by Akhmedov, who always showed his superiority, via hand speed and accuracy on the three Judges’ cards. Eric Cheek, Glenn Feldman and Don Trella gave with identical scores of 100-90.
With this result, Akhmedov improved his record to 19-1, with 14 knockouts, while Rosado left the ring with a record of 26-16-1, with 15 knockouts.
