Yamil Peralta crowned WBC International Champion

Argentine Yamil Peralta defeated Brazilian Fabio Maldonado, via a technical knockout in the third round, to obtain the vacant international cruiserweight title of the World Boxing Council, at the Diego Armando Maradona stadium of the Lagomarsino Municipal Club, Argentina.

Peralta was at the forefront of the fight from the beginning, getting the distance and attacking his opponent effectively.

In the third round, Peralta hurt the Brazilian with his left hand and he staggered, but stayed on his feet. To end the fight, he cornered him against the ropes and hit him with a powerful combination, to send him to the canvas, so the Referee intervened to save him and it was victory for Peralta.
