Shields and Marshall square off for middleweight supremacy

 On September 10 at the O2 Arena in London, England, there will be a much-anticipated fight that`s been simmering, stewing, and cooking for a long time. 

Talented Claressa Shields will put her WBC, WBA and IBF middleweight world titles at stake against a well-known rival, the English fighter Savannah Marshall, who owns the WBO title of the division, standing directly in the way of Shields becoming the undisputed champion for the third time.

Shields and Marshall have met before as amateurs. What a fight that night, as  Marshall beat Shields by decision in Qinhuangdao, China, in 2012. That is the only loss Shields has in boxing. Claressa has an amateur record of 77-1 and now in the professional arena she is the only boxer in history (male or female) to win undisputed titles in two categories.
