Boxing Week poised in San Pedro Garza, Nuevo León

Next Monday, July 11, “Boxing Week” will be launched in the municipality of San Pedro Garza García, in Nuevo León, Mexico.

An event with which the promoter Boxing Showcase kicks off the activities that will lead to “La Silla Fight Night”, great boxing show to be held on Saturday 16 at the facilities of the Showcenter Complex in this town.

Boxing Week has the support of the Department of Physical Culture and Sports of San Pedro Garza García, and it will teach self-defense classes to society in general; primarily for women and children, with the main objective of combating violence, drug addiction and obesity.

As a contribution from The Boxing Showcase, OCV Monterrey and Percento to remedy social problems faced by the community, specialists will also give motivational talks.

The same Friday the 15th, the weigh-in ceremony will be held for “La Silla Fight Night”, a boxing program that inaugurates the second edition of the successful Big Belt Championship, a tournament for rookies that this year will share the venue with Texas.
