Crews Dezurn and Cederroos weigh in

Saturday night at the legendary Madison Square Garden in New York City, history will be made between Franchon Crewz-Dezurn and Elin Cederroos, both unified champions.

Crews-Dezurn (7-1 2 KOs) is poised, after her first WBO and second WBC defense against Alejandra Jimenez in January 2020 was declared a “No Decision.”

Crews-Dezurn won the WBC crown in just her fifth pro fight in August 2018, beating Maricela Cornejo and added the vacant WBO belt in her first defense of the WBC belt, in a rematch with Cornejo, 11 months later.

The IBF and WBA champion Cederroos (8-0 4 KO) is a former professional soccer player turned elite fighter. She will look to add the Virginia fighter`s belts in her second fight in the United States.

This Friday the official weigh-in ahead of the evening took place. Franchon weighed 166.8 pounds, while Elin was 167.8 pounds.

The card which is promoted by Matchroom Boxing, in association with Most Valuable Promotions, will be televised on DAZN.
