Leo Santa Cruz defeats Carbajal in a great fight

Former Mexican world champion Leo Santa Cruz defeated Keenan Carbajal by unanimous decision in ten rounds this Saturday at the Michelob Ultra Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada.

The fight was totally dominated by Santa Cruz (38-2-1, 19 KOs), who suffered some cuts from accidental headbutts.

Leo dominated the action and hurt Carbajal (23-3-1, 15 KOs) multiple times with body shots, winning every round on all three judges’ scorecards (100-90).

 This fight was part of the initiative promoted by the World Boxing Council with BoxVal (Boxing with Values) and Scholas Ocurrentes, a non-religious foundation of Pope Francis, which promotes values ​​of unity and world peace among young people.
