In Louisville, Kentucky, USA, Cassius Marcellus Clay was born. He would change his name to Muhammad Ali. For many specialists and fans, Muhammad Ali is simply The Greatest. He conquered the heavyweight championship for the first time on February 1964 after defeating Sonny Liston in 6 rounds. As amateur, he’d won the Olympic Gold medal in Rome, he debuted as pro in October 29, 1960 and he fought for the last time in 1981. Among countless as well as deserved recognitions for this three Championships and many other extraordinary larger than life achievements, Ali was recognized as “King of Boxing” by the World Boxing Council.
