
Tijuana dressed up to party and box, as a successful amateur tournament was held organized by the Asociación Mexicana de Boxeo Amateur A.C. which is directed by brothers Diego Morales and Erik Morales.
The Association, which has been working for boxing over twenty years, presented this great card, as part of the one hundred and thirty second anniversary celebration of Tijuana.
With the CREA Sports Unit as its headquarters, the activities began early in the day, since a total of 35 fights were held where young people between 8 and 27 years old participated.
Diego Morales, who was the main organizer of this tournament, said he was very satisfied with the great response, and especially with the fights that were presented that day since they were all of the highest level.
He stressed that these kind of tournaments, are essential for the training of all boxers mentioning that professional fighters Jaime Munguía, Kenia Enríquez and Brenda Flores were part of the Association.
The godparents of this successful tournament were the former world champion and idol of Tijuana Erik Morales, as well as Jaime Munguía, who were in charge of presenting the belts to all the winners.
