“Iron” Mike Tyson defeated former Champion Pinklon Thomas  with  a spectacular TKO in 6 rounds, defending the WBC heavyweight championship. The bout took place In one of the parking lots of the Hilton Hotel in Las Vegas.  The Referee was Carlos Padilla. The Judges were Dalby Shirley, Gordon Volkman and  Harry Gibbs.
