Reach for the sky! Eggington vs. Molina

They`ve haven’t been “Sent to Coventry! Rather, British Sam Eggington will face Mexican, Carlos Molina for the vacant World Boxing Council middleweight silver title, on Saturday, at the Skydome Arena, in Coventry, West Midlands, UK.

Both star fighters made it through the weigh-in without a hitch, ticking in Sam Eggington 158 pounds and Carlos Molina 159 pounds.

Sam Eggington (29-7-0, 17 KO’s) is a former British, European and Commonwealth champion. In his last presentation, last December, Eggington defeated former British champion Ashley Theophane by TKO in six rounds.

Carlos “King” Molina has faced an assortment of fine fighters. Julio Cesar Chávez, Jr. (twice), Mike Alvarado, Erislandy Lara, Kermit Cintron, James Kirkland, Ishe Smith, Cory Spinks and Cornelius Bundrage.
