No stone unturned in Gibraltar for rock on Povetkin Vs Whyte rematch

WBC interim heavyweight champion Alexander Povetkin, will defend his title in a big hitting, lion hearted rematch thriller, against former champion, Dillian Whyte, on Saturday in Gibraltar.

Povetkin and Whyte impressed and then expressed, during and after public training in separate locations, showing lean burn power and grim determination. In a fight like this, there can only be one winner.

“I have rested well, I have spent time with my family and I had a great preparation, as I did for the first fight,” Povetkin said. “As I said before that first fight and after, Dillian Whyte is a good, strong fighter. I will be totally ready. I hope it will be another great war for the fans.”

“I am absolutely determined to regain my crown, without a doubt it will be another excellent fight but this time the result will be very different. I’m motivated by this rematch that I’ve been waiting for a long time,“ Whyte tersely commented.

The event, which is promoted by Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom Boxing, will be televised on SKY in the UK and on DAZN.
