February 23rd, 1900.- Barbados´ Demon, Joe Walcott, who actually wasn’t born in Barbados but in Demerara, Guyana….but that didn’t stand in the way of a cracking nickname, defeated Joe Choinsky by TKO. The Referee of the bout was, Johnny White. The event took place in Broadway A.C. in New York.
