Forjando Campeones presents magnificent boxing night on Despierta TV

Year end is packed with “Punch” for Forjando Campeones, due to  the union made with Despierta TV, to mount an international card of 19 fights this Friday, December 18, starting at 5pm sharp,  at the Wyndham Garden Cancun hotel, the new boxing house.

Mario Esquivel, who`s President of Despierta TV Multimedios, began the presentation of the boxing evening, launching this brilliant new initiative by saying:  “Welcome everyone to this new project, in which Despierta TV and Forjando Campeones join objectives,  to continue in the search for new boxing stars  in Quintana Roo and Mexico. He declared: “This is our first step in professional boxing, and you will soon have more news from us. Now  is the time to enjoy this magnificent night of boxing that we have prepared.”

Eliseo González Carrasco, Coordinator of Forjando Campeones explained that the card comprises of young promising prospects  of international boxing with fighters from Panama, Guatemala and Mexico.

Sergio “Yeyo” Thompson, former boxer and boxing entrepreneur welcomed the fighters of the appetizing function, saying:  “I started like you, hungry and hungering to become champion. I invite you all to fight for your dreams, as in this company you will always have our full support. We are all together  and united to create champions.”

Also in the presidium was Eliseo González, President of the Boxing and Fighting Commission in Benito Juárez, representing the World Boxing Council, pledging  that the evening will comply with all the requirements and protocols necessary to guarantee the health of all those involved in the card, which will be endorsed by the WBC, and will be held behind closed doors.

Madelein Palacios, Director of events and Public Relations of the Wyndham Garden hotel, welcomed Despierta TV as well as Forjando Campeones, for the first of many great cards in the new boxing house in Cancun.
