Ivanov wins WBC International Silver title

Undefeated Ukrainian Petro Ivanov (13-0-2, 8 KO’s) stopped  German Yusuf Kanguel (19-4-1, 12 KO’s) by TKO in the fourth round this Friday on an undercard held in Baden-Württemberg , Germany.

The fight was dominated from the start by Ivanov, demonstrating both his boxing ability  and considerable punching power. With this triumph the Ukrainian fighter wins  the WBC International Silver Super Middleweight title.

The other fight scheduled for the WBC Asia middleweight title, between the Ukrainian Andrii Velikovskyi and the Armenian Anatoli Hunanyan had to be canceled, as the Ukrainian fighter came out positive in the Covid-19 test.

The ring officials of the World Boxing Council, led by WBC Vice President  Houcine Houichi, did an outstanding job.
