“Knockout of the Pandemic” on September 11

On September 11, in Tlanepantla, State of Mexico, the card “Knockout of the Pandemic” will take place. Former Mexican world champion, Cristian Mijares, will face his compatriot and also multiple former world champion, Fernando “KOchulito” Montiel .
The exhibition will be for the benefit of a noble cause.
The show will also feature seven professional fights as part of boxing’s revival in Mexico.
Given the current pandemic and following the health protocols of the World Boxing Council and the Boxing Commission of the State of Mexico, exhibition fights, as well as professional ones, will be done behind closed doors.
