Norway’s Katharina Thanderz (13-0, 2 KOs) will have the opportunity to challenge World Boxing Council super featherweight champion Terri Harper (10-0-1, 5 KOs).
Thanderz, a native of Oslo, Norway, is coming from defeating Brazilian Danila Ramos in a competitive fight that allowed her to win the interim division title.
At the recent WBC Convention, it was confirmed Thanderz must face Harper to unify the title.
“I feel like I can finally show everyone it was worth taking this step, with patience, endurance and hard work, which are the keys to success,” Thanderz said in an interview, adding: “It is without a doubt one of the biggest dreams I have ever had and I feel more than ready.”
Team Sauerland, who is guiding Thanderz`s footsteps, has entered into negotiations with Matchroom Boxing to take the fight.
