Matchroom Boxing and Golden Boy Promotions reach agreement for #GarciaCampbell

This Wednesday, during a video conference via Zoom, Eddie Hearn of Matchroom Boxing, on behalf of Luke Campbell, and Eric Gomez, of Golden Boy Promotions, on behalf of Ryan García, confirmed that they have reached an agreement about the fight for the WBC interim lightweight title.

The fight is scheduled to take place in the United States in November of this year. More details will be announced soon.

The usage of technology as a platform for purse bids is a new proposal from the WBC that will save money and travel time for participating promoters, as well as allowing the media and fans to be present during the action.
