A day like today, Milton McCrory conquered WBC belt

August 13^th, 1983.- Milton McCrory, from the US better known as “Iceman” conquered the vacant WBC welterweight belt after defeating Welshman Colin Jones by UD in 12 rounds, but not before weathering a torrid ninth round. The fight took place at the Dunes Hotel of Las Vegas. The Referee was Isaac Herrera. The Judges were Ray Solis, Anselmo Escobedo and Angel Tovar
