Mike Tyson knocked out Mark Young in the first round of their 10-rounder at Latham Coliseum, New York.
Tyson felled Young with an uppercut after just 50 seconds to secure his 15th straight knockout win since turning pro 10 months earlier.
“Iron Mike” became the sport’s youngest heavyweight champion 11 months later when he destroyed Trevor Berbick in two rounds to win the WBC crown at the age of 20.
