The WBC mourns the death of Jean-Marc Perono

The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaiman, is mourning the death of Jean-Marc Perono, manager and coach from France.

Jean Marc, who died of a heart attack aged seventy-two, guided Hacine Cherifi and Fabrice Tiozzo to win world crowns, in addition to helping and supporting dozens of fighters during their careers.

He dedicated the best years of his life to better the sport he loved, and he leaves a legacy which will forever be cherished and honored by those who love and know about Boxing.

The entire WBC joins the family of Jean-Marc and his many friends, in these sad moments, wishing them consolation, but also in the knowledge of great pride and joy in Jean Marc`s considerable and lasting achievements.
