WBC mourns Edu Mello’s passing

The World Boxing Council and its President Mauricio Sulaiman, lament the death of Edu Mello, promoter of the high-ranked WBC superwelter, Patrick Teixeira.

Mr. Mello dedicated his life to boxing in Brazil, supporting many fighters from his community.

The entire WBC joins Edu’s family and friends in these sad moments. Edu`s memory will always be cherished and he`ll never be forgotten.
