WBC Backs “Supernova Strikers: Genesis”: Safety and Sporting Excellence
At this Martes de Café, the World Boxing Council proudly announced its total support for the upcoming 2026 edition of Supernova, an event promising to revolutionize the intersection of digital entertainment and the sport of boxing.
With the firm objective of ensuring that the physical integrity of the participants is the absolute priority, the WBC will work hand-in-hand with the Mexico City Boxing Commission.
Recognizing the massive impact of this event, the WBC and the local Commission will be in charge of rigorous medical examinations, technical regulations, and safety protocols for all content creators entering the ring. Furthermore, in a gesture that underlines Supernova’s respect for the discipline, the card will feature amateur boxing matches prior to the main events, integrating developmental boxing with the media spectacle.
In preparation for the event, influencers Kim Shantal and Víctor Ordóñez “Lonche” visited the organization’s facilities to reaffirm their commitment to professional training. Both will be part of the explosive card on April 26th and expressed their respect for the green and gold belt and the responsibility that comes with representing this sport.
