The WBC Mourns the Passing of Ring Official Jesús Alemán

The President of the World Boxing Council, Mauricio Sulaimán, along with the entire boxing family, joins in deep sorrow following the sad news of the passing of our beloved friend, colleague and distinguished ring official, Jesús Alemán.

Jesús was not only an impeccable professional inside the ring but also an exceptional human being. He will always be remembered for his unmatched sense of humor, his personal warmth, and, above all, his immense passion for boxing.

His final official performance as a judge took place this past March 21st in the city of Santiago de Veraguas, Panama, during the Boxing Challenge event, where he once again demonstrated his commitment and dedication to sporting justice.

The WBC expresses its most sincere condolences to his family, friends, and the entire boxing community of Panama during this time of profound grief that touches all of us who had the privilege of his friendship.
