Orobio, Fendero and Pérez triumphant 

An intense night of boxing took place in Montreal, Canada, where WBC affiliate titles were on the line and so fine.

In the main event, undefeated Colombian Jhon Orobio successfully defended the WBC Continental Americas super lightweight championship by knocking out Yomar Álamo in the first round. Orobio showed his power from the opening bell and just 45 seconds into the fight landed the decisive combination that forced the referee to stop the contest.

In another title bout, Moreno Fendero captured the WBC Continental Americas super middleweight championship with a unanimous decision victory over Shawn McCalman after ten rounds of intense action. The scorecards reflected the new champion’s superiority with scores of 96–94, 96–94 and 98–92.

Lenar Pérez earned a unanimous decision victory over the experienced Isaac Chilemba. After ten rounds, the judges turned in identical scorecards of 100–90, giving Pérez a clear victory and the title in the division.

The event delivered dominant performances and champions within the WBC continental landscape, results that will likely have an impact on the rankings while establishing these warriors as fighters to watch in their respective divisions.
