On April 5, the legendary Olympia in London, England, will become the epicenter of women’s world boxing. Most Valuable Promotions (MVP), led by Jake Paul and Nakisa Bidarian, officially announced its arrival in the British market with a dream card featuring four world title bouts.
In one of the most anticipated main events of the year, the reigning WBC World Lightweight Champion, Caroline “Sweet” Dubois, will seek the first step toward undisputed status in an explosive unification against the experienced Terri Harper.
Dubois will put her prestigious WBC title on the line in what she describes as a “massive fight for her legacy.” Harper, a former WBC world champion at 130 pounds, looks to return to the top of the WBC in a new division.
The night will also witness a battle for history at 122 pounds. British star Ellie Scotney, current WBC Champion, will face Mexico’s Mayelli Flores in a duel where all the belts in the super bantamweight division will be at stake. Flores, a proud representative of Mexico City, arrives with the mission of becoming the first Mexican woman in history to become an undisputed champion.
Additionally, Irma “Torbellino” García will defend her super flyweight crown against undefeated local Emma Dolan, while Chantelle Cameron returns to the ring seeking to conquer a new division against Michaela Kotaskova at super welterweight.
