In 2024, he claimed the WBC Silver Featherweight title after defeating Sulaiman Segawa by majority decision. One year later, he fought for the interim WBC Featherweight title against Mateus Heita.
Following the vacancy left by Stephen Fulton, Carrington was given the opportunity to compete for the world championship against Carlos Castro.

The following year, he was crowned WBC Continental Americas Super Bantamweight Champion, a title he successfully defended twice. In 2021, he moved up to the featherweight division and won the WBC Continental Americas Featherweight Championship.
