In the heavyweight division, a very peculiar matchup awaits. On one side stands a natural heavyweight of great size, Bosnia’s Ahmed Krnjić; on the other, the revelation of the tournament, Argentina’s Kevin Ramírez, who moved up from cruiserweight but has already eliminated several heavyweights on his path, chasing his dream of becoming champion. Power and strength versus speed and agility — that’s what awaits us in this clash on December 20 at the Boxing Grand Prix.

Kevin Ramírez’s Road to the Final
First Phase (Seventeen Rounds):
In his debut, Kevin faced Brian Zwart of the Netherlands. The Argentine showcased great agility and constant movement in the ring, along with the devastating punching power his friends often mention. He knocked out his opponent in the first round, securing his victory and moving on to the next stage.
Second Phase (Round of 16):
It was an authentic clash of titans between Reagan Apanu of Congo and Argentina’s Kevin Ramírez. Despite the African fighter’s powerful punches, the South American’s precision and intensity proved superior. Ramírez came close to knocking him out, but ultimately earned a unanimous decision victory from the judges.
Third Phase (Quarterfinals):
In a very close decision, the judges declared Kevin Ramírez the winner through the enhanced scoring system after a hard-fought bout that extended to the fourth round. It was competitive from the start. The Polish fighter Lacz pressed forward constantly, trying to punish Kevin, who seemed stronger early on. However, as the fight progressed, Ramírez evened things up with effective combinations and precise punches. Both fighters finished the final round strongly, leaving the decision to the judges.
Fourth Phase (Semifinals):
Argentina’s Kevin Ramírez earned his victory and a spot in the final by defeating American Dante Stone via split decision. In the first round, Kevin surprised Stone with a right hand that sent him to the canvas. The American got up and recovered well, using his jab effectively. Still, Ramírez’s right hand remained dangerous throughout the fight. Despite both fighters tiring in the later rounds, they never stopped battling. In the end, the judges awarded the split-decision win to Ramírez.

Ahmed Krnjić’s Road to the Final
First Phase (Seventeen Rounds):
In his first fight, he faced Guatemalan Yordy Valenzuela Santos. The Bosnian giant started the competition strong, and in just three rounds, secured a technical knockout over his opponent, advancing to the Round of 16.
Second Phase (Round of 16):
In what seemed destined to go to the scorecards, Ahmed Krnjić ended the fight with a spectacular combination that left Brito unconscious. Brito was behind on the cards, so in the fifth round he became more aggressive, exchanging punches with good movement and higher volume. However, Krnjić responded with a hook–jab–uppercut combination that dropped him. Although Brito managed to get up, the referee determined he was not fit to continue.
Third Phase (Quarterfinals):
In a tough and hotly contested battle where both fighters gave everything in the ring, Ahmed Krnjić defeated Ukraine’s Tsonte Rogava by majority decision. The fight began cautiously, but as the early rounds progressed, both fighters opened up. The Bosnian sought to dominate with powerful punches and constant pressure, while Rogava counterattacked effectively. Fatigue began to show, and the Ukrainian slightly decreased his pace. Krnjić capitalized on this to close the later rounds stronger, earning the judges’ decision.
Fourth Phase (Semifinals):
Bosnia’s Ahmed Krnjić secured a split-decision victory in a true war against South Africa’s Keaton Gomes. It was undoubtedly one of the most physical fights of the tournament. Although Gomes did everything he could to overcome the Bosnian giant — even hurting him in the fifth round — Krnjić controlled the exchanges, landing powerful shots to the head and body. He managed to wear down his opponent and handled the fight more intelligently overall.
